SAVE UP TO 40% ON YOUR HEATING COSTS

Hello, my name is Hank Maida II;
As a former design engineer for residential and commercial heating and air conditioning systems, I have found many issues with upfront costs, differences of opinion with best installation practices with many ideas on equipment, materials and system design. I am researching different system designs compared with a product made in Canada that saves up to 40% of your heating costs without altering your current systems or taking up more area of your home than necessary while maintaining the esthetic look a home owner desires.
Creating a solar air heater that works on convection makes sense. In utilizing the natural law on transfering the heat from one fluid to anouther. Adding another element to the system, like a fan to increase the transfer of heat, results in the system becoming whats called a Forced Convention system. My expertise has lead me to the design of systems like the ones discussed in this blog. Design of the system is the key. Typically, home owners looking to use renewable energy as a heating source may not know where to begin. They would likely call a local contractor for a qoute. Seasoned individuals in the trades and DIY's that have installed plumbing and heating systems may not have any problem installing solar energy systems themselves. What about those DIY's that know their way around a saw , hammer and screw gun but have never tackled a plumbing or heating job before.
There is a product available from CANSOLAIR INC. out of Canada that has a couple dealers in the US. and Stat Solair Solar Solutions is one of them. Cansolair manufacture's a Solar Space Heating System made from Recycled Aluminum Cans. A single 30 watt German built fan is used that can be powered either by a 30 watt DC motor combined with a 30 watt PV panel. You may also select to use the AC motor and plug it into the grid for pennies a day. The motor has a lifetime guarantee and the collect itself has no moving parts. The price point of this system is $2745 plus installation costs, unless you DIY. The system takes up less area than a sheet of plywood on a south, south east or south west exterior wall or roof. Follow this link to read more about this plug and play solar energy system and please leave your comments about it. I would like to hear what you think about this type of system compared to the systems you are experienced with.

How does the Cansolair RA 240 Solar Max Work

A low level fan unit draws the cooler, heavier air out of the space at a rate of 90 cubic feet per minute. The air is filtered, heated and returned back to the space cleaner and 50 - 100 degs hotter.

THAT'S INCREDIBLE!Automatic control is achieved using a snap disk controller that monitors the solar panels internal temperature and turns the unit on at 110 degrees F (43.3C) and off at temperatures less than 90 degrees F
